When Banned Things Happen To Good People is a podcast about censorship and the arts, with a focus on books and films that have banned or challenged in Canada, the United States, and around the world. Launched in 2019, hosts Todd Sullivan and Peter Aman have looked at novels like Brave New World and Rage as well as movies like The Exorcist, and The Human Centipede 2.

Half-Cut Conspiracies answers the age-old question of how to best process the claims of conspiracy theorists. Turns out the answer is with an elevated blood-alcohol level. Each episode Carlo Sia and Todd Sullivan imbibe enough alcohol to get a bit tipsy then dig into some of the most popular conspiracy theories from history like Area 51 and the Roswell UFO crash, as well as more current subjects like Qanon and the COVID-19 pandemic.

Todd Sullivan is a writer, director, filmmaker, ukulele player, and father who decided to spend some of the 2020 quarantine starting podcasts, including the two of them hosted here. Besides banned things and conspiracies, he enjoys talking about video games, comic books, board games, and various other features of nerd culture.

Peter Aman is a young old man who enjoys hanging with his three kids and all the shenanigans they get up to. Peter also enjoys reading, watching movies and jamming tunes. He likes short walks on the beach and not sharing food. While new to podcasting, he sure isn’t new to sharing his opinions or his thoughts and prayers.
